For the period of the summer months at Johnson Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Johnson Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Johnson Lake that you need to camp here for a while,       Masten Camper Haven is a wonderful place for that, and this is a popular place for folks from Lexington. Do schedule some time to have a look at Bullhead Point near Johnson Lake if you have a chance; not far from Johnson Lake you'll stumble on Lauby Reservoir which is a lovely lake. Johnson Lake truly is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. On a pleasant day it's a great idea to spend the day at East Shore; since you might be in a lake visiting                  mood you can always visit nearby Elwood Reservoir. Hit the beach if you want, North Shore is practically right here, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lexington, Ne is a tremendous choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Johnson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Main Area Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Lexington.
