Jessup Reservoir is a location that is relatively arid generally; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least       moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Scottsbluff is a splendid choice. If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a nice panorama of Castle Rock from Jessup Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Scottsbluff is a nice place to spend a night or two. Smokestack Rock is something you shouldn't miss if you're here at Jessup Reservoir, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Roberts Reservoir. During the summer months,                  highs frequently are in the 80's at Jessup Reservoir. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Jessup Reservoir. Stay the night at Chimney Rock Pioneer Crossing, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Wildcat Hills Trails. This lake is so wonderful.
