This lake is so wonderful. Foerster Branch is next to Imperial Reservoir and is always a joy to check out; Imperial Dam is a lovely place, definitely worth checking out. There's so much to do here at Imperial Reservoir that you need to camp       here for a while, Center Dam Campground is a great place for that, and there are other sites here than Imperial Reservoir, for example Hoffmeister Reservoir. It is very arid here at Imperial Reservoir usually; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Imperial Reservoir is excellent!. For you golfers we recommend nearby Imperial Country Club,                  and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Ogallala is a good choice. High temperatures at Imperial Reservoir throughout the days of summer are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
