It is very dried out here at Howard Reservoir frequently; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Dry warm beds await you at O'Neill Super 8 Motel, and Howard Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place to camp here at Howard Reservoir is Wildwood Acres Campground. On a glorious day at Howard Reservoir you can take a hike along       the Ashfall Trail, and hey, Big Springs Creek is a good local stream. Summer at Howard Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
