For the duration of the warm months here at Horn Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while Horn Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Horn       Reservoir 4 is a perfect lake near Horn Reservoir, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Wildcat Hills Trails. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Scottsbluff is a good choice, and Horn Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Chimney Rock Pioneer Crossing is a great local campground. Around Horn Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through May, and January meanwhile is the driest month.                  That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Horn Reservoir has it all. If you're here, you might as well check out Hubbard Gap, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Chimney Rock Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Horn Reservoir, for example Horn Reservoir 6, and a pleasant close by hotel is Days Inn Scottsbluff.
