Summertime highs at Gus Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Gus Lake. Gus Lake is pretty dried up mostly; July is the month that       gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Snake River, and a good spot to camp here at Gus Lake is Merritt Trading Post Resort.
