Groves Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sand Hills. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Sand Hills. Lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Alkali Lake in the vicinity of Groves Lake; Kirkpatrick Valley is a great location here at Groves Lake. At Groves Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 30's,

A wonderful lake like Mar Lake close to Groves Lake is a good site to take a look at; if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Ogallala is a great choice.
