Grove Lake Dam is lovely and it's near Grove Lake Reservoir, and O'Neill Super 8 Motel is a brilliant site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. East Branch Verdigre Creek is right next door to Grove Lake Reservoir and is always a pleasure to pop by, and the Niobrara Trails offers hiking at its best. All through the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Grove Lake Reservoir while night       lows are commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Grove Lake Reservoir temperatures drop to the 0's. Camping is available at Wildwood Acres Campground. There's great hiking along the Ashfall Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Fred Penn Park Campground is a tremendous spot to camp.
