This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sand Hills. Visiting Badlands National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, unsurprisingly you could also go to Dead Cow Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Through the summertime months at Gordon Valley Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Through       the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while Gordon Valley Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
