This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Goodwin Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Powder Horn Area Campground is a nice place for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Snake River offers some delightful whitewater.       Goodwin Reservoir is pretty arid typically; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Through the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 80's at Goodwin Reservoir while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Goodwin Reservoir. Very fine water scenery is available at Goodwin Dam in close proximity                  to Goodwin Reservoir, and there are other places here than Goodwin Reservoir, for example Fox Reservoir Number 2.
