You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Hessey Lake is one of those close by, and if you've had enough of Gaff Lake, Shafer Lake is close by. There's so much to do here at Gaff Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hamburger Barn is a fine place for that, and Days Inn Alliance is a nice place to get some rest. Gaff Lake is a location that is pretty arid regularly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain,       and February is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Gaff Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Gaff Lake drop into the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Sand Hills. All year is a nice time in the Sand Hills if you like the outdoors.
