The wonderful people of Grand Island like to hang out close by, and going for a hike on the Dannebrog Trails is always a pleasant adventure. During the warm months highs here at Farwell Reservoir get into the 80's; the night is slightly colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Farwell Reservoir sink into       the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - St. Paul; if you came for an overnight stay Marina Bay Campground is a nice location to camp. Farwell Regulating Dam is striking and it's right next door to Farwell Reservoir; camping is available at Trade Winds Marina and Campground.
