Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Rock Creek Station Trails, and a delightful close by hotel is New Victorian Inn Beatrice. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the neighborhood of Essman Reservoir. Hiking along the Homestead Trail is       good fun, and there are plenty of people from Beatrice here at Essman Reservoir. Lakes are nice; Roscoe Hill Hatchery Reservoir is a lake that's near Essman Reservoir; Essman Dam is a delightful spot, definitely worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Clatonia Creek is a glorious local stream; Essman Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Legion Memorial Park Campground is a good local campground.
