Diehl Lake is not the only spot nearby, Diehl Lake is a nearby lake, and Diehl Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Macklin Bay Campground is a tremendous local       campground. For the duration of the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Diehl Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's; overnight lows during the winter for Diehl Lake tend to be in the 10's. It's a fine idea to pop by Camp Creek, it's in close proximity to Diehl Lake.
