What a nice lake Deer Lake is. This lake is located in the wonderful Sand Hills. Lakes are such serene locations, why not visit Watson Lake near Deer Lake, and a gorgeous lake like Granning Lake is a good spot to pop by. Just can't get enough of the Sand Hills. Deer Lake gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. For the duration of the summertime here at Deer
