Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Lovejoy Lake, and after a long day outdoors Trade Winds Lodge is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are nice; Ell Lake is a lake that's near Coleman Pond, and there are great spots to explore along the Smith       Falls Trails. It is very dried up here at Coleman Pond regularly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Valentine NE, and Lovejoy Flats is a scenic location any time of year. Summer at Coleman Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night                  lows at Coleman Pond all through the winter typically drop into the 0's.
