If you came to camp West Wind Campground is a brilliant spot to do that, and there's nice hiking along the Wildcat Hills Trails. Cochran Lake is regularly a quite dehydrated location; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Cochran Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter comes       with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Cochran Lake plunge into the 10's. During your journey to Cochran Lake you'll meet some folks from Scottsbluff for sure. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are great places to stop at, and Scotts Bluff National Monument is no exception, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Scottsbluff is a great choice.
