It is very waterless here at Clear Lake commonly; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. A good close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Valentine, and if you come at the right time of year, Snake River offers some perfect whitewater. Clear Lake is not the only place nearby, Cedar Lake is a nearby lake, and you can stay the night at       Valentine Motel and RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Niobrara National Scenic River is a brilliant national park, and Clear Lake is a perfect place to camp, Valentine KOA is a perfect place. High temperatures at Clear Lake throughout the summer are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Clear Lake through the winter usually drop into the 10's.
