A pleasant nearby hotel is Sleep Inn Fremont, and Meadow Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. If you want to hit the beach, Fremont Beach is in close proximity, and if you came for an overnight stay Meadowbrook Mobile Home Park is a good site to camp.
