Carter Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you want to stop at some exciting stuff, stop at Council Bend, and do take a hike on the Boyer Chute Trails. A lake nearby is Carter Lake; Super 8 Motel - Carter Lake/Eppley Arpt. is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Carter Lake you'll in all probability meet some people from Omaha-Council Bluffs, and close to Carter Lake you locate a golf course called

You are in the neighborhood of Sandpiper Cove while you're here at Carter Lake, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Copper Creek Connector Trail. Going for a hike along the Desoto Bend Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of
this region; why not camp at Garden Valley Courts if you're here at Carter Lake. High temperatures at Carter Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 60's.
Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Carter Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail is a national
park worth a visit, and if you came for an overnight stay Bluffs Run RV Park at Horseshoe Casino is a pleasant spot to camp.
