Be careful coming to Carbody Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Going for a hike on the Toadstool Trail is always a great adventure, and the scenery at Carbody Dam is delightful. There are wonderful locations to discover along the Boots and Saddle Trail, and camping at Toadstool Campground is always a brilliant experience. Cedar Canyon is in the vicinity of Carbody Reservoir and is unquestionably       a great place to go to; if you have the time, Agate Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. At Carbody Reservoir throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Carbody Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Carbody Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Trooper                  Trail; probably you're looking for nearby lakes?
