Candlewood Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Candlewood Reservoir gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain while January is ordinarily the driest month. A lake nearby is Boys Town Reservoir Number 1, and Candlewood Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Caradon Mobile Home Park is a great place to camp nearby. Eagle Run Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby, naturally you could also go to Standing Bear Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. On a delightful day at Candlewood Reservoir you can take a hike along the Desoto
Bend Trail, and Glenn Cunningham Lake Campground is a perfect campground nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Candlewood Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Candlewood Reservoir.
