The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Burns Lake with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Burns Lake. There's so much to do here at Burns Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wilson Island State Park is a nice place for that, and Wilson Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out. From       a precipitation point of view Burns Lake is a rather common site; June is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A lake close by is Horseshoe Lake; close by you locate the Desoto Bend Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
