The Scott Lookout National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best; camping is available at Whitetail Canoe Launch/Campground. For the period of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Brush Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Brush Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. It is very       dried up here at Brush Lake commonly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Dismal Trail, and a perfect close by hotel is Rodeway Inn North Platte. Camping at Arrowhead Motel is always a delightful experience, and Cody Lake is a tremendous lake close by. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact bountiful here at Brush Lake.
