This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Van's Lakeview Fishing Camp is always a nice experience, and a tremendous location to stop by close by is Brule Canyon. High temperatures at Brule Creek Reservoir 1-A through the warm months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the       winter temperatures at Brule Creek Reservoir 1-A fall into the 0's. If you came to camp Eagle Canyon Hideaway is a brilliant spot to do that. There is a wonderful hiking trail close to Brule Creek Reservoir 1-A called the Lake Ogallala Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Ogallala. The Ash Hollow Trail is a great hiking trail close to Brule Creek Reservoir 1-A; after a long day outdoors Ogallala Super 8 Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night                  or two.
