On a pleasant day it's a wonderful idea to spend the day at East Shore; a great close by hotel is Comfort Inn Lexington. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 80's at Bossung Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Bossung Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. This       lake is so wonderful. Lauby Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lexington, Ne is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. Bossung Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Masten Camper Haven is a magnificent site to camp nearby; nearby you hit upon Bullhead Point. At Bossung Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and January meanwhile                  is the driest month. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in close proximity to Bossung Lake. Hit the beach if you want, Mallard Beach is practically right here, and Main Area Campground is a great campground nearby.
