Do take a look at Indian Creek Reservoir 6-B right next door to Boesiger Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the Rockford Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Boesiger Reservoir; June is the wettest month with most rain, and       the driest of the months is January. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BEATRICE is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and if you need a spot to stay New Victorian Inn Beatrice is a fine choice. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. There's so much to do here at Boesiger Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Chautauqua Park Campground is a delightful spot for that, also Busboom Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. This                  lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are perfect sites to explore, and Homestead National Monument of America is no exception. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Boesiger Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Hickman City Park Campground. You'll meet a lot of people from Beatrice here, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Wilderness Park Trails. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Boesiger Reservoir get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's.
