On a glorious day at Boardgate Reservoir you can take a hike along the Toadstool Trail, and Strawstack Butte is clearly visible from Boardgate Reservoir. Near Boardgate Reservoir you locate the White River Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and Boardgate Reservoir is a splendid site to camp, Toadstool Campground is a splendid site. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Hot Springs Super 8 Motel,       and there's some interesting stuff to see at Boardgate Dam close to Boardgate Reservoir. Boardgate Reservoir is commonly a pretty dried out spot; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. Lakes are such serene locations, why not check out Board Gate Dam Reservoir next to Boardgate Reservoir, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Boots and Saddle Trail. That right there                  is heaps already, but it goes on; Boardgate Reservoir has it all. All through the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Boardgate Reservoir. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's.
