All through the warm months highs here at Black Lake get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Black Lake plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Fred Penn Park Campground is a pleasant place to do that. Black Lake is brilliant enough to spend more       than a day at, Tilden East Park Campground is a brilliant local campground, and golf can be played at Antelope Country Club. Not much rain falls here at Black Lake; most of the rain falls all through June, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
