This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Tate Lake in the vicinity of Big Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and swamps like Vrender Swamp are fun to stop at. Trade Winds Lodge is a splendid spot to get some rest, and Fishberry Campgrounds is a nice campground nearby. Big Lake is a location that is relatively dry frequently; through       the month of July you get the most rain around here; January meanwhile is the driest month. At Big Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's.
