Kimball Koa Kampground is a fine campground nearby, and Bennett Dam is not far at all from Bennet Reservoir. Summertime highs at Bennet Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Bennet Reservoir nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. After a long day outdoors Kimball       Days Inn is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; a journey to Scotts Bluff National Monument is worthwhile. Bennet Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is December. This lake is so wonderful.
