There's great hiking along the Roberts Trail, and a lake nearby is Pilster Reservoir. What a location this is for outdoors people. A perfect place to camp here at Bauer Reservoir is Roberts Trailhead Campground. Go for a hike on the White River Trail, and if you get bored of Bauer Reservoir you could also pop by nearby Lone Tree Reservoir. All through       the summertime months here at Bauer Reservoir, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Bauer Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Bauer Reservoir gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
