During the warm days of summer highs here at Bastron Lake get into the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Bastron Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Not much precipitation falls here       at Bastron Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Days Inn Scottsbluff, and Sunrise East Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. If you're here at Bastron Lake and you like golf, you can have a look at Chimney Rock Golf Course.
