Spotted Tail Campground is a splendid campground nearby; a wonderful nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Chadron. Bartlet Reservoir is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Red Cloud Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Chadron Trails. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. There's delightful hiking along the Roberts       Trail. Best Western West Hills Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest; Bartlet Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Through the months of summer at Bartlet Reservoir highs are usually in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bartlet Reservoir. At Bartlet Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest                  month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful.
