Baldwin Reservoir is generally a quite waterless location; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Baldwin Reservoir. While you're here at Baldwin Reservoir you can take a hike along the Rock Butte Loop. All through the summer at Baldwin       Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Baldwin Reservoir. Baldwin Dam has good water scenery and it's next to Baldwin Reservoir, and the Pine Ridge Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Chadron is a good place to get some rest, and why not camp at Roberts                  Trailhead Campground while you're here at Baldwin Reservoir. If you need a site to stay Best Western West Hills Inn is a nice choice; Dry Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting.
