Badger Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Steer Creek Campground is a fine local campground; lakes are such calm sites, why not have a look at Horseshoe Bend Pond. While you're here at Badger Lake it's a good idea to visit Enscow Flat, and there are other places here than Badger Lake, for example Lake John.
