Summertime highs at Sweetwater Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Sweetwater Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Sweetwater Lake is pretty waterless frequently; of all the months       in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. A great nearby hotel is Days Inn Devils Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Sweetwater Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spirit Lake Casino and Resort RV Park is a great spot for that, and since you're here, you could also stop by picturesque Court Lake.
