High temperatures at Rush Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Rush Lake temperatures dip to the-10's. Rush Lake is usually a relatively dehydrated place; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the       least moisture. There's so much to do here at Rush Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Hills Resort is a delightful place for that, and Best Western Kelly Inn is a great location to get some rest. Stay the night at Ft. Stevenson State Park; if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Minot. This lake is so wonderful.
