This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Petrified Lake, you could also take a look at close by Round Lake. It is very dried up here at Petrified Lake ordinarily; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. During the summer at Petrified Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge       down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Petrified Lake temperatures drop to the-10's.
