During the long summer days here at Blacktail Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's; nighttime lows throughout the winter for Blacktail Lake tend to be in the-10's. Blacktail Lake gets very little precipitation; most       of the rain falls all through June, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place to camp here at Blacktail Lake is Buffalo Trails Campground, and Missouri Flats Inn is a fine spot to get some rest. Why not stop by Blacktail Dam while you're here, and Lake Zahl is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Williston Municipal Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to Blacktail Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Williston here.
