If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SNEADS FERRY (TOPSAIL BEACH) is a pleasant choice, and Yow-Williams Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Pinewood Campground is a good place to camp nearby. For the duration of the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 80's at Yow-Williams                  Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Yow-Williams Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
