Paddling on North Mayo is so much fun; a golf course nearby is Ponderosa Golf Club. And that's not all you can do here at Youngs Lake. You could also pop by Tuttles Lake while you're here at Youngs Lake; it's nearby, and if you're dropping by from Martinsville, you won't be the only one. A lake nearby is Dumaines Lake. All the water falling down       from the sky makes Youngs Lake a wet spot; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You don’t have to go far from Youngs Lake to observe the water at Youngs Lake Dam, and you can stay the night at Dan River Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Days Inn Eden is a good choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Youngs Lake                  has to offer, you can camp at Indian Heritage RV Park. Summertime highs at Youngs Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
