Young Lake is always a pleasure to visit. The warmest time of the year at Young Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the night is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Young Lake are in the 20's. Lazy Acres is a good campground nearby; since you're here, you could also pop by pretty McFayden Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Long Valley Farm Lake is a nearby

This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cape Fear, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Campbell Creek Loop. While you're here at Young Lake you can take a hike along the American Beech Trail, and don't forget to take a great little spree to Tank Creek. Get wet paddling on Little River, and at Young Lake you always meet someone from Fayetteville. Be careful coming to Young Lake, you might not ever wanna
go home again. On a perfect day at Young Lake you can take a hike along the Fish Camp Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Spring Lake-Ft. Bragg/Pope Afb is a pleasant choice.
The scenery at NC Noname Eighty-One Dam near Young Lake is stunning, and Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites is a delightful spot to get some rest.

 | Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking. Also nice beach area for the summer.... |
