Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like West Prong Moravian Creek, and Yadkin River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. Yellow Jacket Lake gets lots of water; most of the rain falls during June while November is mostly the driest       month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Wilkesboro, and if you're here, you could also visit pretty W Kerr Scott Reservoir. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So much fun stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too brilliant to be true. Going for a hike on the Dogwood Trail is always a great adventure; if you need a place to stay Red Carpet Inn Wilkesboro is a tremendous choice. You can run the                  rapids of Reddies River close to Yellow Jacket Lake, and people from North Wilkesboro love to come here. Do go to Noname near Yellow Jacket Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at W Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir; an afternoon playing golf at Sumerset Golf Course is always a joy. For the period of the summertime months at Yellow Jacket Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Yellow Jacket Lake fall into the 20's. Yellow Jacket Lake really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise.
