North Carolina has many beautiful lakes and Woods Lake is one of them. It's a great idea to pop by Buffalo Meadows, it's near Woods Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Wellons Gateway Inn. Going for a hike on the Group Camp Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Cape Fear. You can take a little visit to Woods Lake Dam while you're here at Woods Lake, and you can run the rapids of Upper Little River.

The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Woods Lake all through the wintertime usually drop into the 20's. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inn And Suites Lillington, NC is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and there are pleasant locations to look at along the American Beech Trail. Woods Lake gets a large amount of water; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is November. This lake
is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Fayetteville Koa is a splendid spot to camp, and there are plenty of folks from Dunn here. You completely have to like Woods Lake. If you're here at Woods Lake and you like golf,
you can go to Pine Burr Golf Course, and don't leave Woods Lake without first going for a hike along the Little Creek Loop Trail.
