    It's always fun to stop by Woodfin Reservoir. All the water falling down from the sky makes Woodfin Reservoir a wet place; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is October. Summertime highs at Woodfin Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Woodfin Reservoir during the  
   wintertime commonly drop into the 20's. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Eller Cove, and don't leave Woodfin Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail.
But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's magnificent hiking along the Side Hill Trail. If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a nice sight of Alexander Knob from Woodfin Reservoir, and an afternoon playing golf at Reems Creek
 
               Golf Club is always a bliss. Having a fine time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. A lake nearby is Beetree Reservoir, and Asheville/North Carolina Days Inn is a fine spot to get some rest.
Woodfin Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Very good water scenery is available at Woodfin Reservoir Dam right next door to Woodfin Reservoir, and naturally Bee Branch is a stunning stream that is worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Miles Motors Campground; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Beech if you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Bee Tree Reservoir if you're here at Woodfin Reservoir; it's nearby, and Blue Ridge Parkway is a great national park. Having a tremendous time at Woodfin Reservoir is easy. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Wolf Laurel, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Asheville. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Asheville East KOA is a nice campground nearby, and get wet paddling on French Broad River.
So much entertaining stuff in close proximity to Woodfin Reservoir, just phenomenal. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Swannanoa River, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Asheville-Biltmore East@Blueri.

The Rocky Broad River- Class IV-V????  Are you kidding?  Not since I moved here in '85 has there even been much water there!  You can barely even float a boat on it unless it has rained for several days!  My 7yo daughter tubed it last year (at least when she wasn't bumping over the shallow rocks).  Even this year when we've tons on rain, a kayaker would have trouble picking a deep enough line through the shoals....
