If you are in Cumberland county it's always a good idea to stop by Wooded Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lazy Acres is always a brilliant experience; you can take a little tour to College Lake Dam while you're here at Wooded Lake. A great spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Wooded Lake is Upper Little River, and you can go for a hike on the Fish Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Wooded Lake is Fayetteville Koa, and dry warm beds await you at Value Place Fayetteville BR. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wooded Lake a wet place; July is when you get the most rain here, and November is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summer months at Wooded Lake highs are generally in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while Wooded Lake
nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, College Lake is one of those close by, and if you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Ft Bragg is a tremendous choice.
In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and going for a hike on the American Beech Trail is always a glorious adventure.
