If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. A great spot to camp here at Woodards Pond is Kamper's Lodge Of America, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Wainwright Pond is one of those close by. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Wilson is a tremendous choice, and Tar River is a great whitewater spot nearby. Days Inn Wilson NC is a good location to get some rest,       and hey, Buck Branch is a great local stream. Throughout the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Woodards Pond. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Woodards Pond are in the 20's. A round of golf at nearby Wedgewood Public Golf Course is a great way to kill some time; an exciting thing to have a look at in the neighborhood of Woodards                  Pond is Woodards Pond Dam. Why not camp at Rock Ridge Campground while you're here at Woodards Pond. Woodards Pond is a pretty wet place generally with a lot of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful.
