The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Woodards Pond. Woodards Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Rock Ridge Campground       is a magnificent local campground, and Days Inn Wilson NC is a magnificent spot to get some rest. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Tar River, and obviously Buck Branch flows through this region. So much exciting stuff to do here at Woodards Pond, too magnificent to be true.
