What a nice lake Witherow Lake is. While you're here at Witherow Lake you can take a hike along the Moores Knob Trail, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge King is a pleasant choice. Beaverdam Creek is a glorious site to stop by, and why not pop by Witherow Dam while you're here. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and the Cooks Wall Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby.

The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Witherow Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. Lake. Here at Witherow Lake you can catch a glimpse of Brown Mountain, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Winston-Salem come to Witherow Lake. On a good day at Witherow Lake
you can take a hike along the Cascade Trail, and camping at Sunset Park Campground is always a wonderful experience.
