Winston Lake is right by the Cascade Trail, and you're almost certainly keen on lakes, Salem Lake is one of those nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hanging Rock Trail, and naturally Brushy Fork flows through this region. There's so much to do here at Winston Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tanglewood Family Resort is a good spot for that, and get yourself       into a kayak and hit Dan River. The Cooks Wall Trail offers hiking at its best, and an afternoon playing golf at Reynolds Park Golf Course is always a bliss. Just can't get enough of Winston Lake. Lakes are great; Myers Pond is a lake that's close to Winston Lake, and get soaked paddling on Dan River. Winston Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is November. This                  lake is so wonderful. Winston Lake Dam is not far at all from Winston Lake, and Wingate by Wyndham - Winston Salem is a splendid place to get some rest. Through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Winston Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Winston Lake. If you came to camp Oak Hollow Campground is a splendid place to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Marriott Winston-Salem. So many entertaining things to do at Winston Lake, so little time.
